About Us
Cat Specialist Services (CSS) is a feline-only referral hospital established in 2024 by feline specialist Dr Rachel Korman, in partnership with Veterinary Specialist Services. Located alongside the VSS Underwood hospital, CSS offers access to a wide range of specialties including Feline Medicine, Surgery, Anaesthesia, Cardiology, ECC, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Physiotherapy.

Job Description
The Role
This is a full-time position caring exclusively for feline patients. Duties include:
Cat-friendly interactions (we never scruff)
Inpatient care and patient monitoring
Anaesthetic monitoring and procedural assistance
Pain management and ward hygiene
Compassionate, detail-oriented patient care
After training, care of hyperthyroid cats receiving radioactive iodine therapy
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Qualified Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV / Vet Tech degree or equivalent)
2–3 years’ experience preferred (GP or referral)
Cat-focused, organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Available for weekday shifts and occasional weekends
