Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our rotating nursing team within our small animal referral hospital. This role involves providing specialised, high-quality nursing care to critical and referral patients across Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine and Dentistry.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of veterinary specialists and nurses to ensure gold-standard patient care is delivered at all times.
Desired Skills and Experience
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Technologist degree
Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience
A passion for delivering gold-standard patient care
Strong teamwork skills and a positive work ethic
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Excellent animal handling skills, including experience with anxious or hospitalised patients
Experience working in a busy clinical setting
